Cabin staining after 9 years from new build in 2016, Ballground Ga

We initially stained this cabin when it was being built back in 2016, with Sansin SDF. After several years of wear and tear, our client was wanting to bring it back to its former glory, and also add a bit of pop to the exterior Roasted Almond color. We coated the entire cabin with Sansin ENS, a couple coats on the south wall for extra protection, and then painted the fascia and the deck band and the window and door trim with Sherwin Williams DTM Tricorn Black, a client favorite for complementing all kinds of stain.

The job was a challenge on the south side, as we had to brush a lot of the stain in around the stacked stone fireplace to avoid getting stain on the stones. We also had to use 32 foot ladders to apply the stain up high due to the slope of the ground nearby.

One thing about working in places like Ballground, GA, you can bet that there is going to be a slope to work from, so we make sure all of our ladders have standoffs on top to stabilize them, and leveler legs added to the bottoms to make sure we aren't having to carve chunks out of your lawn to keep the ladders safe.

Its really satisfying to have clients come back after 9 years for more cabin staining, and we were happy to be able to paint the trim for an even more premium look this time.
